Lough Neagh Northern also established a sustainable fishery management plan and the Lough Neagh Partnership works on promoting the local eel and fish products in the local markets and restaurants. Lough Neagh Partnership recently commenced a European water quality project and just last week launched a new plan to address loss of bird species and wetland habitat on shores of Lough Neagh.
