things to do

Meet the locals and their culture book an eco-friendly and responsible tour, meet the locals and talk about their rich history. You can learn about the apartheid in Africa and discuss other local political, social, economic and cultural issues. You can take this tour with visit.org.
The Twelve Apostles Mountain Range most people only know the front sight of the Table Mountain, but the back is just as stunning, maybe even more! The sight of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range is one of the most scenic stretches of coast in the world. You can rent a bike or take a City Sightseeing bus. This place has a bit of magic around if you go there just before sunset, the view is breath taking!
Escape the city it is refreshing to leave the city for a few hours and this is an amazing place to refresh. After a 50 minutes hike in the Steenbras Nature Reserve you find the Crystal Pools in Gordon’s Bay. The first pool is about 45 minutes in the hike, the second (best for swimming) is only 15 minutes further. The water is cold, but after the intensive hike, you feel blessed! Visit the park between November and April, the park is closed in the remaining months to give the park time to rehabilitate! Only 50 people a day are allowed, so you need to get a permit, but in exchange it feels like you have the place all to yourself!
