Worldwide there are countless organizations that have the same goal as bookdifferent.com, and that is to create a better and fair world by developing and promoting awareness about sustainability (among travelers and accommodations). We would like to introduce our ‘partners in crime’ with whom we work together to achieve this goal.
The aim of the ANVR is to combine the strengths of their members in order to promote the common socio-economic interests, so that the ANVR, as an organization, occupies a prominent place both nationally and internationally as a representative of the travel sector.
Breda University of Applied Sciences
Breda University of Applied Sciences is a medium-sized, non-private institution for higher education. They prepare students for an international career. Some 7,000 Dutch and foreign students from around 100 countries study there.
Direct ICT is an ICT service provider for SMEs. They advise on and implement solutions in automation, internet services and software. Direct ICT wants to stand next to the entrepreneur and together, with the right solutions and services, contribute to the success of their company.

Green Destinations is a non-profit organisation for sustainable tourism, leading a global Partnership of expert organisations, companies, and academic institutions. They work for the benefit of the Green Destinations Community: destination representatives and stakeholders.
The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)
The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) establishes and manages global sustainable standards, known as the GSTC Criteria. There are two sets: Destination Criteria for public policy-makers and destination managers, and Industry Criteria for hotels and tour operators.

Nudge is a company with a mission: they want to achieve lasting behavioural changes among individuals and organizations in the fields of climate, energy, the environment and social sustainability. They do this by involving them in projects and campaigns that stimulate other behaviour in a stimulating way.
A community of over 300 social enterprises form the member base of Social Enterprise NL. These members are active in 16 business sectors (such as catering, IT solutions, manufacturing, health care ect) and have a diverse range of impact areas (such as circular economy, economic development, renewable energy and active participation in the labour market for underprivileged groups).
