How does it work?

Booking a hotel online safely with Best Price Guarantee and at the same time financially supporting a charity of your choice without paying anything extra? It’s possible via BookDifferent. But how do we do it?

BookDifferent is a non-profit foundation which is why we can donate 50% of our earnings to the charity you select. We use the other 50% to keep our site online, maintain the functionality and make improvements.

Lowest Prices

The processing of your hotel reservation takes place via Booking.com, the largest and best value hotel booking site in the world. We use the same prices which is why it isn’t cheaper to book a hotel directly through them. Because Booking.com works with Best Price Guarantee, BookDifferent uses exactly the same terms and conditions.

For every hotel room that BookDifferent books through the reservation system of Booking.com we receive commission. 50% of that money is guaranteed to be donated to the charity of your choice. Once you have made your reservation via BookDifferent, Booking.com takes over and sends you an e-mail with the confirmation details of your booking.

About a month after you’ve checked out of the hotel which you booked via us, BookDifferent will send you an e-mail with the exact amount of money donated to the charity you selected.

BookDifferent uses the expertise from Booking.com, donates half of the commission received to your selected charity while you pay the lowest price for your hotel.

Privacy

BookDifferent doesn’t share any of your personal details with others. Only your city of residence and the city in which you booked your hotel will be forwarded to the charity you have selected.
